In 1986, we were brothers aged 21 and 22, naively taking on the challenges of the world without any worry as to what to do, how to do it, or even whether or not we should. The car business seemed like a fun idea since our father had done it for 15 years...and we could certainly do it better than him, right? Oops.

Later that year, we purchased Hillsdale Chrysler Plymouth Dodge, Inc. expecting the people to swarm us and we'd be selling cars like there was no tomorrow. Even though we barely survived the first year with our sanity intact, we had no idea would become one of the most unique and most respected dealership operations in the country.

Throughout the years we discovered the not-so-secret power of being known for doing the right thing on behalf of clients. We created one of the first vehicle home delivery systems in the country. We became one of the top three Dodge Viper dealers in the country. We became one of the top Internet selling dealerships in the country. We won local awards of "Business Person of the Year" and "Entrepreneurial Spirit Award" for helping re-build our community from the depths of massive layoffs and business closings. Yet we have continued on...
